The meandering volume of our scheme defines two major spaces. The space defined by the building head, together with the historical Sallmann-house, forms an extension of the street and an entrance courtyard to the building.

In this way the whole building addresses the main street. The floor plan is doubly and complementarily oriented: with a bay to the courtyard and a bay to the garden.
The visitor experiences this dichotomy as a contrast between the urban design of the entrance courtyard (with separate entrances to multi-purpose hall and administration), and the garden to the rear, with an elegant lawn and the existing mature trees.
